My Favourite Place: Burns Photo Competiton 2015

Last month, the ISAS team launched a Photo Competition in celebration of Burns Night. We asked international students to send us a photo of their favourite spot in Edinburgh or Scotland with a short explanation. We’d like to say a big thank you to all who entered- there was an excellent mixture of photos, from Highland hills to cobbled streets, bookshops to beaches! We loved hearing about what each of these places meant to you.

The votes are in and we’re very pleased to announce the winner of this year’s Burns Photo Competition- Si Ning Yeoh with her wonderful photo of Armchair Books. She said: “There’s nothing quite like browsing through the gorgeous old tomes in Armchair Books on a chilly afternoon”.

Check out all of the shortlisted images here and keep your eyes peeled on our facebook page for more competitions like this!
